Lord Krishna incarnates Himself whenever there is a discrepancy in the religious principles and the demoniac elements become prevalent. The Lord appears in many ages to chastise the demoniac elements and establish the principles of religion. The great Vaisnava poet, Jayadeva Goswami had composed beautiful Sanskrit poems glorifying ten of the incarnations as They appear in various ages.
