Description

Sri Gopala-tapani Upanisad is the favourite Upanisad of the Vaisnavas. Great Acaryas such as Visvesvara, Sri Jiva, Visvanath Cakravarti Thakura, Baladeva Vidyabhusana wrote commentaries on it. Because the subject matter of this book is Lord Gopala or Krsna, the son of Nanda, it is called Sri Gopala-tapani.
This edition includes the commentary of Visvanath Cakravarti Thakura.
