Caitanya Upanisad is a part of the Atharva Veda, and Bhaktivinoda Thakura had rediscovered the manuscripts. He got hold of an ancient edition of the Astharva Veda, and when the Vaisnava community encouraged him, he wrote a Sanskrit commentary called Sri Caitanya-caranamrta, meaning “the Divine Nectar of the feet of Sri Caitanya”.
The book offers overwhelming evidence of Lord Caitanya’s identity as the Supreme Lord and Yuga Avatara.
Translation of verses and commentary into English by Bhanu Swami.
