Description
Krsnadasa Tatapada was born around 1800 a.d., he studied Sanskrit in Vraja, and later received diksa in the line of Narottama Thakura, he later served for many years as doorkeeper in front of Govindajiu temple in Jaipur, and then returned to Vraja, he became blind and weak, but then got in his old age the blessings of Lalita devi, who fixed his eyesight, so that he would compile instructions of how to approach Radharani. Later he got so much in difficulties to do his Sanskrit studies and his bhajana, that he decided to drown in Manasi Ganga, but again Lalita-sakhi appeared along with Sanatana Goswami as well as, and they instructed him, that he should describe the process of bhajana for the benefit of the Vaisnavas livng in Vraja. He then wrote several books including Bhavanasara Sangraha, Prarthanamrta Tarangini, Padhati and Sadhanamrta Candrika, to help sadhakas to remember the eight-fold daily pastimes of Mahaprabhu along with those of Radha-Govinda.
